Sometimes I sit and ponder what this word means to me. I feel I used to have a slight tendency to control situations, and sometimes just life in general. Through the years I have gotten better at this. I have gotten better at giving it over to God. Trying to let God control the situation I’m in, or the situation those around me are in. By giving it over to God, it may not be how I want things to go, but in the end, it works out the best. I believe everything I go through is a learning experience.
I know the saying, Let go and Let God. It used to irritate me when others would say it, until I started to do it. Then I could see why they were saying it. It’s a life changer; He’s a life changer.
Letting go of control over every little thing gave me freedom; and probably gave those around me freedom too. Just letting things go as they should, learning to be myself and let life happen. Not every situation needs to go just so-so.
The word God have me for the this year, 2019, is CHANGE. This had to begin with me. Changing how I do things, say things, looks at things, and most of all, how I react to things. So far, God is seeing me through these changes. I see the difference in my husband, our daughter, and most of all, myself. Letting go and letting God is my life changer. I enjoy everything and everyone so much more now. I am learning to live in the moment.
